Be transported back to Roman Rotherham with a real Roman resident from the past as your guide. Whether it’s Verecud, a British female business owner who will share with pupils the goods she traded, or Cintusmus, a Roman soldier who will role-play the construction of the fort at Templeborough, they’ll teach you everything about their day-to-day life in Roman Rotherham. Pupils will also get to explore the remains of the Roman granary and handle real Roman artefacts.
