30 September – Nelson’s Cub Club: Explore! At Boston Castle
Join Little Nelson and his Lion family to explore objects from the museum's collections and engage with them through stories, songs, and play!
The Park Keeper has found an old blackbird nest in a tree at Boston Castle! Nelson loves blackbirds and their beautiful song! Have you ever seen a bird’s nest or heard a blackbird sing? Join us at Boston Castle as we explore our beautiful natural world and all the creatures that inhabit it.

- Nelson's cub club is under 5s and their families.
- There will be space to park your buggies.
- All sessions are FREE (however we do accept donations) and include a drink and small snack.
- The session numbers are limited, and we will be operating on a first come first served basis.
- We will meet outside Boston Castle and the session will run 11am 12:30pm.
